About Em and Lena

Fun Not Fear! is brought to you by EmWantstoWrite and Lena Corazon.  Here’s a bit more about us:

Em
My name is Em and I am a 28 year old primary school teacher who lives in Devon in England. I have always wanted to write but never actually sat down and tried until June this year when I started my blog. I signed up for the year long writing challenge A Round of Words in 80 days and since then I have blogged, written two draft children stories and managed to make myself sit down and write 33,141 words of a chick lit book that I WILL return to one day.

This NaNo will be my first and I am going to attempt to write a murder mystery story set in England in 1936. I cannot wait to start writing the novel I am planning and I hope the public accountability of this helps me sit down and write, write and write some more!

I would love it if you buddy me on NaNo – my username is EmWantstowrite.

Lena

Hey everyone! I’m Lena, a 24 year old grad student living in sunny Santa Barbara, California. I’ve been writing for most of my life, but only recently decided to approach it as a serious career, rather than just an after-school hobby.I somehow managed to complete CampNaNoWriMo in August, and was so jazzed by my win that I decided to tackle the “real” thing.  This November, I’ll be returning to a fantasy novel that I abandoned a few months ago, which makes me a bit of a “NaNo Rebel,” since I’m not starting a brand-new novel. I’m excited to start from scratch and rebuild, and to connect with other writers along the way.You can find me on my blog, TwitterGoogle+, and, of course, the NaNoWriMo site.
